June 1, 2010: Pinnacle Moves to Private Placement Space
Over the past several years Pinnacle Alternative Investments
LLC has successfully provided marketing consultancy and
capital introduction services for emerging and established
managers in the alternative and hedge fund investment
space. In fact, our principal mission has been to assist managers
in increasing their assets under management.
As of May 2, 2010, however, Pinnacle was offered and has since
accepted a unique opportunity to engage a U.S.-based private
placement firm in growing their institutional and investment
banking relationships. Given that this new relationship is
conditioned upon Pinnacle's willingness to work exclusively
with our new partner we will no longer be able to accept
any new marketing or consultancy engagements.
Consequently, please note that the library of marketing
tools and resources (most importantly, hedge fund investor
database profiles) historically employed by Pinnacle will
now be made available to those managers that maintain a marketing
budget and as such, can afford the very reasonable costs associated
with accessing these resources. It is also important to note
that any manager seeking these resources should be prepared
to use them professionally and responsibly, as to do otherwise
would serve no good purpose. Collectively, the assets raised
on behalf of emerging and established managers by Pinnacle
and affiliated marketers over the years exceed several hundred
million dollars.
Though we will not place any limits on the number of managers
that will be allowed to purchase the aforementioned marketing
resources, we will consider each inquiry on a case-by-case
basis and we retain the right to refuse an inquiry should
it not be in the interest of all concerned.
