Founder and Managing Director of Pinnacle Alternative Investments
LLC since June of 2001, Jacques has been an active participant
in the securities and alternative investment industry for
more than 20 years. He began his career in 1982 with Merrill
Lynch as an account executive specializing in public and private
limited partnership offerings. He continued his career with
Shearson Lehman Hutton 1986 in similar capacity. His experience
gained while at both firms provided an invaluable training
ground in which to successfully learn the skills necessary
for raising funds in several investment classes, including
real estate, oil and gas, film partnerships, as well as institutional
fixed income client accounts.
Jacques resigned his position in 1989 with SLH and proceeded
in a private consulting role while working closely with a
private European family office. It was at this point in his
career that he began to acquire extensive knowledge and understanding
of Alternative Investment Strategies. Consequently, in 1996,
he moved to position himself in the derivatives industry by
joining Commodity Futures and Options Service, Inc.
Subsequent to joining CFOS, an Independent Introducing Broker
in Houston, Jacques quickly rose to the level of Vice President
and then Chief Executive Officer. In February of 2001, he
resigned to pursue his professional ambitions and founded
Pinnacle Alternative Investments LLC (a Professional Commodity
Trading Advisor) and Benchmark Brokerage LLC (A Guaranteed
Introducing Broker). As Managing Director of both firms, Jacques
was responsible for trading program and systems development,
product introduction, sales and marketing, compliance and
supervision of brokerage/advisory activities and coordination
of hiring and long-range strategic planning and growth.
The depth of knowledge and experience gained from managing
both the brokerage and marketing of alternative investment
trading products provides Pinnacle with a unique perspective
that has turned into marketing advantage for its' talented
manager clientele. This advantage has enabled Pinnacle to
add value to its broader service of platforming and marketing
top alternative investment manager programs to the institutional
and HNW investor space.
Jacques is a graduate of Louisiana State University {1980}
with a degree in Liberal Arts and completed degree requirements
in Finance from the University of Houston {1982}. He is married
and has two children. He enjoys weightlifting, tennis, running
and basketball.
